尾張町にタイポグラフィの書籍を中心に扱っている書店です。
It is a bookstore mainly dealing with typography books in Owaricho.

古典的なものから、タイポグラフィのいまを紹介する様な本まで幅広くセレクトしています。
It has been selected extensively from classical things to books that introduce typography now.

この場所が出来る前は長い間続いていた南洋堂書店という古書店で、
オープン時には南洋堂書店に敬意を払った展示をやられていて、とても印象的でした。
Before this place was established, it was an old book shop called Nanyodo bookstore that had been in existence for a long time, and when I opened it was exhibited with respect to the Nanyodo bookstore and it was very impressive.

活版印刷機も置いてあり、不定期にワークショップをやっているそうです。
店主は朗文堂（新宿にあり出版、活字販売、学校を運営している）が主催する新宿私塾の修了している方です。
There is also a letterpress printing machine and it seems that he is doing a workshop irregularly.
The owner is a person who has completed Shinjuku private school sponsored by Roubundo (Publishing, printing type printing, school management at Shinjuku in Tokyo).

デザインに関わる方なら割と身近なタイポグラフィですが、
一般の方にも見て頂いて、ここを入り口にデザインにも興味を持ってもらえればと考えているそうです。
