竹が好きな家主のこだわりの家。
ー住空間に本物の竹演出を取り入れるプロジェクトー

前回のプロジェクトに続き住宅に竹で演出するプロジェクト第二弾。
今回は、生活のほとんどを過ごすリビング空間＆ダイニング空間、そしてトイレの3箇所に
本物の竹と、漆で朱塗りにした竹、同じく漆で黒に塗られた竹の
３種類の竹を生活空間に取り入れ演出しました。
A house whose owner lovers bamboo. This is the second project to elaborate a house with bamboo. I add value by adding three kinds of bamboo, a bamboo itself, red-colored bamboo and black colored bamboo to living/dining space and bathroom.

ダイニングカウンター横のキッチンカウンターには、青々しい竹を竹林のように演出。
無垢の板と竹が醸し出す素材感のコントランスがナチュラルな雰囲気を出してます。
I also elaborated a kitchen counter beside dining counter with young bamboo. Simple board and bamboo create a natural atmosphere by the contrast of these different materials.

和風モダンをコンセプトに造られた内装は、家主がこだわった無垢材フローリングや建具、照明などでトータルコーディネイトされている。
Under the concept of Japanese modern style, this house is well elaborated in consistent way with solid wood flooring, furniture and lights.

リビング空間には、朱塗りの竹を広めの空間に大胆に配置。
壁面の大部分は黒漆喰を塗ってあり、時間帯によって色の表面の表情が変わるので
それに負けないようにインパクトのある朱色にしました。
一瞬、赤いラインが竹だと認識しずらいかもしれないけど、そこも演出として狙っています。
In living space, we put red-colored bamboo. As almost all regions of the wall are black lacquered and it feels in a different way according to time change, we introduced a red-colored bamboo which has enough impact. You may not find red parts as bamboo, but that is what I intended.

トイレには、漆塗りの黒い竹をポイントに配置して落ち着いた雰囲気を演出。
壁面が黒漆喰で、渋い空間になっています。
今回は竹に漆を塗るといった一手間かけた素材を造ったのですが、
本漆を塗ったので、施工した僕は漆に気触れてしまってました。笑
塗師屋さんは、大丈夫だと言ってたのに、、、免疫がないとダメですね。
手と顔が気触れたのですが、顔はお岩さんのように腫れ上がって大変でした。
今、思い出しても痒くなってきた。
住宅の生活空間に竹の演出は、以外にも和空間のみならず
いろんな空間にもアイディアしだいではマッチングすると思っています。
In bathroom, black lacquered bamboo makes the atmosphere stable. The wall is black lacquered and made the space cool. It took a longer time as I used natural lacquer, and I accidentally touch it. Artisan of lacquer said there was a problem, but there was! My hands and face reacted to lacquer, and my face became swollen as if I was a Oiwa-san, a Japanaese ghost. I feel itchy just by thinking about it. Bamboo can matched with living space better than expected when your ideas work.
