石川県に来て間もないころ、
右も左もわからないままとりあえず洋服が欲しくて一番最初に通い始めたのが、
新竪町商店街に位置する「ALASKA MOUNTIAN STORE（旧BANJO’S）」。
When I came to Ishikawa Prefecture soon I did not know either the right or the left I wanted clothes for the time being The first thing I started was “ALASKA MOUNTIAN STORE (formerly BANJO’S)” located in Shintatemati shopping area.

通い始めた90年代後半のストリートファッションといえば “裏原” 真っ只中。
ココで買ったノースウェーブは大学の体育館で盗まれ、
もう一回買いなおした一足もまた体育館で盗まれたことは記憶に新しい。

「ALASKA MOUNTIAN STORE」に店名が変わってからは、
店主の番匠さんが長年愛して病まないアウトドアを主流に間違いない商品セレクト。
ココでしか手に入らないアイテムや、
取扱いがないブランドでも探してくれるというところがまた嬉しい。
After the store name changed to “ALASKA MOUNTIAN STORE”, it is a product select which is definitely mainstream for Outdoor who does not suffered by the owner of the shop owner love for many years.

新竪町商店街では面白いイベントを定期的に開催しているので、
そちらに合わせてショップ回りするのもオススメ。
