｢シジャン」とは韓国語で「市場」という意味。
その名の通り、金沢市中央市場に位置する韓国料理屋さんです。
シジャンと言えば、韓国料理…はもちろんですが
なにを隠そう、かつてマスターの占いで一斉を風靡した場所。
今も「よく当たる」と噂の気功占いを求めて多くの人が集います。
地元紙で占いについて取り上げられたこともあり、その当時は1日に何十人と占っていたそう。
「10年間で30000人は見ている」とのこと。
“Shijan” is a Korean word meaning “market”. Namely, Shijan is name of Korean restaurant located in Kanazawa central market. When you hear Shijan, that means Korean food, of course. This restaurant has been popular for its fortune-telling. There are still many customers gathering for its fortune telling. The local newspaper had some article about the owner who told fortune of hundreds thousands of customers.

マスター曰く
「占いなんて当たらんもんや」
「これから近いうちに出会いがあると占っても、本人が行動せんとなんも起こらん」
「結局自分次第や。こうなりやすいっていう傾向を占うだけ」
え？じゃあマスターの占い当たらないんですか？
「当たるから人が来んねん」
うーん、確かに。
そんな威勢の良いマスターの占いは、夜、予約の方限定。
食事しない場合は3000円、1000円以上のお食事で無料で占ってもらえます。
The master says, “my fortune-telling can be wrong. Even if I know you can meet future mate, nothing happens as long as are inactive. In other words, it depends on you. I just tell you what is most likely to happen.” To my question of “Is your fortune-telling not correct?”, his answer is, “Only those whose future is clear to me visit me.” The owner is such a tough man and fortune-telling is only for dinner. The fee for fortune-telling is 1,000 yen for those who have dinner and 3,000 yen for those who do not.

ご夫婦で店を切り盛り。年齢差28歳（！）
マスターの過去やご家族のお話を聞くのも楽しい。
もちろん、食事も美味しいです。
お昼は市場から仕入れた新鮮でリーズナブルなお刺身定食がおすすめ。
夜はサムギョプサルやチゲ鍋など韓国料理はもちろん、美味しいお魚をつまみに一杯やるのもオツ。
This restaurant is managed by the owner and his wife. She is 28 years younger than him!! It is so fun to listen to his past and family. Of course, dishes here also fine. For lunch, I recommend sashimi-set at a reasonable price. For dinner, Korean barbecue, Korean stew and fish dishes with some alcohol would be fine.

今日はナムルとモツとレバー焼きでちょいと一杯。
I enjoyed namul and motsu steak with alcohol.

綺麗なお店より、カウンターでマスターがカボチャを剥いているくらいがちょうどいいんです。
